Lanzarote’s tourism economy continues to bloom these days. People from all over the world can’t help but be amazed by its natural beauty and unique landscape formations. Below are some of the must-visit places in Lanzarote. Bring your family and friends and create memories and experiences that you will never forget.
Be amazed by its awesome geologic formations. A wonder of nature with its stretch of volcanic wasteland formed over hundred of years.
Playa de Papagayo
One of the most popular beach located in a national park at the South-Eastern tip of Lanzarote. It is famous for its fine white sand and clear blue water. The beach is so calm as the long and wide cove protected it from the wind.
Opposite to the calmness of the water in Playa de Papagayo, Los hervideros is known and most visited for its strong waves hitting the rocks crafting it into beautiful unique landscapes. The water is so clear though I don’t advice diving on it.
Leaving Lanzarote without visiting this magnificent cave is a total waste. The cave is said to have been a refuge for locals from thieving pirates.
Actor Omar Sharif fell in love with this place whilst filming the 1972 spanish version of Jules Verne’s “The Mysterious Island”. Originally built as a display home highlighting local style.
